Hey! I’m Rosie.
I’m a yoga teacher, massage therapist, and writer from New Zealand.
During my last five years in the yoga, adventure and wellness industry, I’ve travelled around the world and taught yoga in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Portugal, Croatia & Austria.
I co-founded a retreat company with my best friend, called Whole & Happy Retreat, a transformational retreat experience in partnership with eco-resorts in Thailand & Portugal. We’ve had an incredible adventure leading these retreats, meeting likeminded people from around the world.
Throughout this journey, the practice and sharing of yoga has allowed me to notice all the little things in life. The small acts of kindness that people offer each other, the tiny coincidences that lead to something greater, the power of being in nature and being in alignment with the things that make us the happiest. When I practice yoga regularly, I’m much more in touch with the place of stillness and calm that is always available to me underneath the external pressures, stresses, the comings and the goings, the ups and the downs. Yoga makes us better people, and creates a domino effect of positivity that ripples through the people we cross paths with.
When I’m not teaching yoga or massaging bodies, I’m out in nature, whether that’s mountains, forest or ocean, reading books, writing, cooking, travelling, drinking coffee and red wine with friends, having spontaneous dance parties and trying to meditate.
I’m a big believer in not taking things too seriously, ourselves included. And I believe that everyone, no matter where they are on their journey, can be happy.
